WOVEN COASTER

GUANABANA home accessories are handmade by craftswomen using the iraca weaving technique, typical of the Colombian tradition.

The iraca, or toquilla straw, is a natural fiber that comes from the "Carludovica palmata", from which we obtain fine threads from the leaves that are dyed to give them color. Once dry, the craftsmen intertwine the threads with the different colors to create our pieces.
