Several decades ago, the late Aldo Cremona, a master painter who worked at Villa Bologna Pottery for 65 years, decided he was tired of only painting men and decided to transform some of our Admiral vases - a nod to Malta's maritime military history - in women. Everyone liked them so much that we kept them. Now you have the choice between handsome sailors dressed in striped tops and pretty women adorned with jewelry. Both look beautiful with a bouquet of fresh flowers.
